Simulation & Cyber Range

Move from plans to practiced response.

The institutional challenge

Plans and procedures written in a spreadsheet or a text document are only valid once they have been tested in a real situation.

Management teams, team leaders and other managers need to experience a cyber crisis together to develop coordination and collaboration skills.

What ACRC does

Practical exercises for crisis management, ransomware, fraud and APT scenarios.

ACRC's simulation environment draws on ROOM#42, a cyber-attack simulation room introduced in 2017 by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity to prepare teams for cyber crisis management. Exercises last about half a day: a preliminary briefing, the simulation itself, and a debriefing supervised by a crisis-management expert. They address non-technical staff, managers and team leaders, and focus on experience, teamwork and the development of coordination and collaboration skills.

Expected outcome

Move from plans to practiced response.
